Shay and photographer Lisa Capp took some photos around town. Here's a sneak peek at their new collaboration 
The new WitzEnd in Venice is fast becoming the go-to spot on the westside for real musos. One of the only venues in Los Angeles that books its talent FOR their talent, one can always be assured of great performances. Shay was asked to duo with jazz bassist Ryan Roberts and the result was an intimate peek inside the inner workings of Shay's songwriting. "I'm going to 'Storytellers' this shit." Shay said and did she ever. Offering insight into the inspiration behind each tune, Shay left the stage to a mix of cheers and cries, as one young female fan approached the stage weeping, thanking Shay for her tales.
Famed sound artist Bastien Benkhelil guested on piano for their new collaboration "Monsters"

Shay was asked to entertain the gliterati at the M. Herrington gallery show on June 1st on Abbot Kinney. Hundreds of well-heeled guests mingled and showed their appreciation for Melissa Herrington's large scale abstracts and Shay's ethereal vocals on a beautiful Friday in Venice. Judith Ann Warren took these gorgeous shots of Shay's performance.
Shay is once again in the studio with Jeff Shuter, her former bandmate from Electro-folk duo Uffie. This time, they have collaborated on a collection of massively heavy dubstep tracks that once again combine Jeff's musical genius with Shay's lyrical mastery. Some truly brilliant vocalists are lending their voices (Shay included of course) and the results are sure to be out of this world. Keep checking back for more info!
Shay sass-mouthed Rodney Bardin and played some brand new tunes live at LBCC. Thanks for all the emails! We'll be heading back to see everyone at At A Glance in Oct so don't forget to tune in and hear Rodney and Shay give each other a hard time again!
Shay performed an intimate acoustic set at Tia Chucha's poetry night. A community staple and a beacon of dynamic diversity amongst the new wave of underground urban poetry and music collectives, Tia Chucha is a bookstore and community center that offers a venue for electrifying new voices in Los Angeles. After seeing Shay perform regularly at Tiger Moon's Poet's Perch, a downtown speakeasy, Jenuine Poetess, a community organizer, asked Shay to be a part of Tia Chucha's special event.
